Full Professor of "Matematiche Complementari" at the University of Parma Italy.

Fields of interest: Differential Geometry, Combinatorics, Mathematics Education, Philosophy and History of Mathematics.

Member of the Scientific Committee of Italian Math. Union, of the Directory of "Mathesis" Association, of the Italian Commission for Math. Theaching.

Author of textbooks for primary middle and hight schools, of books for teachers training and of two books of general interest (Relazioni e strutture. La matematica: problemi e teorie)

Over 200 scientific papers.

He prematurely died on 19 December 1998 after a short infirmity.
